Terms and Conditions for Interstellar Command
Effective Date: September 9, 2025
1. Agreement to Terms & Scope
By accessing or playing our game, Interstellar Command (the "Game"), through a decentralized application (dApp) store or directly via a web browser, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms specifically govern the dApp version of the Game. If you are playing the Game downloaded from a mobile app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store), different terms apply.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only, subject to your compliance with these Terms.
3. Assumption of Risk & User Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree to the following risks associated with using a blockchain-based application:
- Wallet Security: You are solely and entirely responsible for the security of your Solana wallet, including the management of your private keys and seed phrase. We have no access to your wallet and are not liable for any loss of funds or in-game items due to a compromised wallet, phishing attacks, or user error.
- Price Volatility: The value of cryptocurrencies like SOL and the in-game items traded on the marketplace can be extremely volatile. We are not responsible for any financial losses you may incur due to price fluctuations.
- Tax Liability: You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any and all taxes that may apply to the transactions you conduct within the Game, including but not limited to selling in-game items for SOL.
- Inherent Blockchain Risks: You accept the risks of using blockchain technology, including the risk of smart contract bugs, network congestion, or other technical issues that may delay or prevent transactions.
4. Cryptocurrency Transactions
The Game utilizes the Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency for various in-game actions:
- Gameplay Fees: Certain in-game actions, such as starting a match or accessing specific features, may require a fee payable in SOL.
- Network Fees ("Gas"): You are responsible for paying all blockchain network transaction fees ("gas") required to perform actions within the Game. These fees are paid directly to the Solana network and are not collected by us.
5. In-Game Marketplace
- Transactions in SOL: The Game includes a marketplace where players can list in-game items for sale and purchase items from other players using SOL.
- Listing Fees: To list an item for sale, the seller must pay a non-refundable listing fee, which consists of: 1. A fixed, upfront fee payable in SOL. 2. A percentage-based commission fee deducted from the final sale price upon successful completion of the trade.
- Our Role as a Platform: We provide the technology for the marketplace but are not a party to any user-to-user transaction. We do not act as an agent, broker, or custodian. While the smart contracts are designed to ensure the atomic swap of an item for SOL, we are not liable for any trades or disputes between players.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Using cheats, exploits, automation software (bots), hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software.
- Exploiting any bug or glitch in the Game for an unfair advantage.
- Engaging in fraudulent activity intended to deceive other players on the marketplace.
- While the marketplace is player-driven, we reserve the right to investigate and act upon clear cases of market manipulation intended to defraud users, such as wash trading. We are not responsible for general price action.
- Attempting to disrupt or overburden the blockchain network through the Game.
7. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate any potential violation of these Terms. Engaging in prohibited conduct may result in penalties, including temporary suspension or permanent termination of your ability to access the Game, at our sole discretion.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAGICBLOCK LABS PTE. LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING FINANCIAL LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE GAME OR YOUR INTERACTION WITH THE BLOCKCHAIN.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Before initiating legal action, you agree to first contact our customer support at development@magicblock.gg.
